Intro

ReaBoot is a convenient all-in-one online installer for REAPER, ReaPack and arbitrary packages.

It's tailored to users who are not yet familiar with ReaPack (or not even with REAPER), providing them with a simple 3-click installer to create or update a full-fledged modern REAPER installation with ReaPack and arbitrary ReaPack packages. But it's equally useful for people who need to frequently carry out REAPER installations for some reason and want to save time.

It can install different things, depending on what installation recipe you feed to it:

  • At the minimum, ReaBoot is simply the missing installer for ReaPack itself: Install ReaPack
  • When you visit the ReaBoot website directly, you will see the default installer "ReaBoot Classics". That's also just a recipe, one for quickly installing popular extensions.
  • You can create your own recipes and installation links, e.g. if you want to provide your users with an easy way to install a custom collection of scripts.

ReaBoot is highly optimized to create clean ReaPack-compatible installations that are no different than if you would install everything by hand!
